Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem is the seat of Forsyth County. I-40, I-74 and I-285 serve the city, US 52 runs along the eastern edge of downtown, and Salem Parkway runs south of it. The parkways carry most of the cross-town miles: University Parkway to the north, Silas Creek Parkway and Peters Creek Parkway to the west and south, and Hanes Mall Boulevard out by the mall.

  • Downtown and the Innovation Quarter, inside the US 52 edge of downtown
  • Old Salem and the streets south of downtown off Salem Parkway
  • Ardmore and the West End, west of downtown
  • Buena Vista and the neighborhoods near it
  • North Winston and the area along US 52 north
  • The Wake Forest University area along University Parkway, and Bethabara
  • Hanes Mall Boulevard and Silas Creek Parkway, and out toward Salem Lake

Every service on this site is available across the city: windshield repair in Winston-Salem for chips, windshield crack repair in Winston-Salem for cracks and car window repair in Winston-Salem for door, quarter and back glass.

Three short steps: where the damage is, your vehicle and how to reach you. Say which town the car will be in.

Kernersville

East of Winston-Salem, in east and south-east Forsyth County with a small part in Guilford. I-40, I-74, Salem Parkway (US 421), NC 66 and NC 150 all reach the town, and Korner’s Folly and the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden are among its landmarks. It has its own page: windshield replacement in Kernersville, NC.

Walkertown

Walkertown lies in north-east Forsyth County and borders Winston-Salem to the south-west. NC 66 crosses US 311 and US 158 in town: US 311 links to I-74 and to downtown Winston-Salem, and US 158 also runs into downtown and on toward Reidsville. NC 66 runs south-east toward Kernersville and north-west about 10 miles to Rural Hall.

Rural Hall

Rural Hall is in northern Forsyth County, about 12 miles north of downtown Winston-Salem, linked to it by NC 66 and US 52. The town has the Rural Hall Depot, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Covington Memorial Park, and the operations center of the Yadkin Valley Railroad. Daily miles on US 52 mean trucks ahead and stones thrown from their tires, which is where most windshield chips start.

King

King is mainly in Stokes County, with part of the city in Forsyth, about 15 miles north-west of Winston-Salem. I-74 runs through the city together with US 52, with access from Exit 123. Pilot Mountain State Park is about 8 miles to the north-west and Hanging Rock State Park about 16 miles to the north, so miles on rural roads add to the interstate miles. Impex comes to the vehicle in King as in the city.

Tobaccoville

Tobaccoville is a village in north-west Forsyth County, with small parts in Stokes County, about 15 miles north-west of downtown Winston-Salem. It was incorporated in 1991 and takes its name from a chewing-tobacco factory built there. Homes here are spread out, which is where a mobile visit helps most: no drive into the city with a cracked windshield or an open window.

High Point

South-east of Kernersville and south and south-west of Greensboro, High Point reaches into four counties: Davidson, Forsyth, Guilford and Randolph. I-74, I-85, US 29, US 70 and NC 68 serve the city, which hosts the High Point Market every April and October. It has its own page: windshield replacement in High Point, NC.

How to tell Impex where the car is

For a mobile visit, the more exact the place, the smoother the day. Give the street address where the car will be parked, the nearest cross street or landmark, and whether it is a driveway, a garage, a parking deck or an open lot. In an apartment complex, give the building or the space number. At a workplace, say whether the technician needs a gate code or a visitor pass. If the car will move during the day, from home to work for example, say when, and Impex can plan the visit around it.
